"Chase This Light" is the ninth track on Jimmy Eat World's sixth album Chase This Light. Even though the song was not released as a single, it did chart on Pop 100 and peaked at 99.[1]

Reception

Virgin Media calls "Chase This Light", "heartfelt and uplifting", citing it's melancholy.[2] PopMatters criticizes the song, citing the lyrics "Oh babe I know it’s alive / And somewhere for us to find tonight / Chase this light with me", saying Jimmy Eat World are no longer teenagers and that it doesn't cut it.[3]
